An action visible in Photoshop is not a sufficient backup of the recipe. Save it as an action set and document its prerequisites. A recovered set still requires testing because profiles, plugins, paths, and software behavior can differ between workstations.

List the external requirements
Expand the recipe and identify other actions, plugins, presets, linked files, profiles, and fixed directories that it calls. Record the required document mode and layer naming. Save the set independently
