How to Review Eyelashes in an AI-Restored Portrait

Check whether newly sharp eyelashes follow visible source evidence instead of becoming repeated strokes or changing the shape of the eye.

Compare the original eye contour
Use the same crop and viewing scale for source and result. Locate the eyelid edge before examining individual lashes. A soft original may support the eye shape without recording every hair. Do not accept detailed lashes merely because they look photographic; those details may have been generated rather than recovered.
Look for changes in expression
Check whether dark strokes make an eye seem larger, more heavily made up, or differently directed. Compare both eyes without demanding symmetry. Real eyelashes can differ with angle and light. Repeated evenly spaced marks, merged lids, and lashes that cross the iris oddly are reasons to prefer a more restrained version.
Choose a believable viewing result
Judge the whole face at its intended display size after close inspection. A softer eye can preserve likeness better than an elaborate reconstruction. Keep the source and record any local correction made in a separate editor. Ask someone familiar with the person to compare expression, while recognizing that familiarity does not authenticate newly generated fine detail.
Check before finishing
- Eyelid shape matches the source.
- New strokes do not alter expression.
- The face remains convincing at normal size.
