How to Check a Smile After AI Photo Restoration

By ImgHeal · Updated

Look for changes to teeth, lip shape, and expression that sharpness can conceal.

Start with the expression

Compare the whole face before examining individual teeth. Check whether the corners of the mouth and degree of the smile match the source. A brighter, more symmetrical smile may change the person's expression even when the result appears polished.

Inspect missing information

A small or blurred mouth may not show individual teeth clearly. Do not assume newly separated teeth or a closed gap are recovered facts. Compare other photographs cautiously, allowing for age, angle, and different expressions.

Accept identity over polish

Keep a moderate edit when the strongest restoration changes a familiar smile. Have relatives review the original beside the candidate result. Retain the source and label any heavily reconstructed portrait rather than allowing it to replace the family reference.

Check before you finish

  • Compare mouth shape before sharpness.
  • Do not infer dental details from generated pixels.
