How to Check Eyeglasses in an AI-Restored Portrait
By ImgHeal · Updated
Inspect frame structure, reflections, and eye position before accepting a face repair.
Compare the frame outline
Match the original and result at equal size. Follow the rims, bridge, and arms of the glasses. An edit can make one side sharp while changing the frame shape or merging an arm into the person's hair.
Inspect the eyes separately
Check whether lens glare hid source information and whether the generated eyes align naturally. A convincing new eye behind an opaque reflection is not verifiable from that source. Look for another photograph when identity review requires more evidence.
Choose a faithful version
Ask someone familiar with the person to compare expression as well as clarity. Keep a softer edit if it preserves the original glasses and gaze better. Save the source so future tools or family references can support another review.
Check before you finish
- Trace rims, bridge, and arms.
- Check inferred eyes behind glare.
