How to Avoid Rotated Photos in a Mixed Print Order
By ImgHeal · Updated
Check orientation and crop for every image when a print order includes both landscape and portrait restorations.

Inspect the local exports
Open each delivery image outside the editing application and confirm its displayed orientation. Note actual pixel dimensions and any border treatment. A file can look correct in one viewer because of orientation metadata while another workflow handles it differently. Keep a version that displays predictably in the printer's accepted format.
Review each product preview
Check how the ordering interface places each image within the chosen print dimensions. Rotate and crop deliberately using the documented controls. Do not assume that a setting applied to one image carries over correctly to all others. Inspect heads, hands, and captions near the boundaries after any automatic fit or fill action.
Retain the reviewed order
Save the order summary or proof and match each product to its filename and quantity. Reopen the submitted file set if possible to confirm the final state. Check delivered prints against those records before distributing them. A mixed order needs per-image verification because one global orientation choice may be right for only part of the batch.
Check before finishing
- Local orientation is verified independently.
- Every product preview was checked.
- The order maps filenames to quantities.
