A Final Delivery Check for a Restored Photo Project

By ImgHeal · Updated

Verify identity, context, files, and recovery before calling a restoration collection finished.

Reconcile the accepted set

Match every delivery file to a source identifier and review status. Confirm that rejected trials and unrelated photographs are absent. Check complete crops, orientation, and recognizable faces in the actual exported files rather than only the editing project.

Check labels and compatibility

Open representative files on another viewer or recipient device. Confirm captions, approximate dates, and restoration labels travel with the images. Keep reconstructed details distinct from verified family information, especially in colorized portraits and unreadable source text.

Confirm recoverable sources

Verify that original scans, essential edit records, and accepted outputs are backed up together. Test a small recovery and include a readme for the recipient. A polished delivery folder is complete only when its source relationships and important context remain understandable.

Check before you finish

  • Match each export to an accepted source record.
  • Test compatibility and recovery.
